12 Gifts of Christmas
This Christmas, our ’12 Gifts of Christmas Charity Raffle’ returns in support of the amazing Emmanuel House Nottingham.
For the next five weeks, we will be selling raffle tickets at our venues. we have 12 exciting prizes to give away which have been kindly donated by our amazing friends and suppliers.
All of the money raised will be donated to Emmanuel House Nottingham. Here's some more details about this fantastic charity:
Emmanuel House supports people who are homeless, rough sleeping, in crisis, or at risk of homelessness in Nottingham. Its purpose is to tackle homelessness, isolation and vulnerability within the local community by providing a compassionate service to people who need help, whether it’s providing brief reassurance or more in-depth and prolonged support. The Day Centre, situated in Hockley, provides basic everyday essentials such as food, clothes, toilets and warm showers, as well as 1-to-1 meetings and wellbeing activities. The centre is also host to a charity shop, which raises vital funds. From October-April, Emmanuel House runs the Winter Shelter: emergency night-time accommodation for people who are rough sleeping. This service can accommodate up to 30 people every night and it costs £745 per night to run.
We will be drawing the raffle on Friday 20th December. Last year we raised over £1,500 and this year, we hope to raise even more!
